Recruiting

FIRST Updates Now FTC 

Date: April 8, 2020

We had our first twitch.tv debut on the channel FIRST Updates Now FTC. It was an awesome feeling to be famous for a minute!  We spend some time getting video shots of our robot in action. Then we edited the segments together into our reveal video and submitted it!

MS State Championship 2019-20

Date: February 28-29, 2020

What an amazing weekend! We had so much fun! We worked hard, stayed up late, made friends, learned the value of alliances, received help, helped others, and had a blast! Read more on our blog!

What's Next?

Date: February 8, 2020

Meetings, meetings, meetings. Preparing for our state competition. We want to be competitive, have fun, and make the top teams a little nervous! Okay, a lot nervous! Let's go make this happen!

Flowood Qualifier

Date: January 25, 2020

Wow! We were the captain of the final alliance, again! So exciting! We feel very competitive this year, up with the big dogs! We won the Control Award also! Check out our blog to learn how we did at this competition.

Bogue Chitto Qualifier

Date: November 9

​We did amazing! We had so much fun. We were captains of the final alliance and won another award as well. See our blog post to find out more about this competition!

Coming up!

Date: October  ??

​We are waiting for some parts to come in through Andy Mark. We made the decision to spend our team money on some macanum wheels and are so excited for those to come in!

Received our field kit.

Date: September 21, 2019

We received our kit and set up our field for the season. This is always a fun team-bonding event. We go over scoring elements and beginning talking strategy for scoring the most points.

Cleaned out the lab for our new season.

Date: September 17, 2019

We rearranged our lab because we have a bigger team this. We needed space and better organization of our materials. We learned a lot about keeping track of our parts last year. We want to keep learning and applying what we learn to our space and our lives outside of building robots.

Fundraising

Date: Semptember 13, 2019

Vine Bros. of Centerville, MS helped us out with chicken dinner plates. We sold a lot! and raised a decent amount to get our team supplies and robot parts for starting this season on the right foot! We are very grateful to Mr. Vine for providing this for our team.
